From 18th to 23rd September the B1053 will be closed north of Braintree. These directions will avoid the 30 mile(!) diversion route.<P><P STYLE=color:yellow;text-align:left;margin-left;60pt;>
People with local knowledge can still come via Rayne and Shalford or via Bocking, Beazley End and Blackmore End.<P>

Take (or continue on) the A120 westbound in the direction of Stansted & M11 leaving at the next Junction after Braintree, signed Felsted, Stebbing and Blake House  Craft Centre. Follow the brown signs for the Craft Centre, passing it on your right.Continue on into Great Saling and take the second turning to the right. Follow this road for about 2 miles to its junction with the B1053. Turn left here onto the B1053. After exactly one mile you will see Boydells Dairy Farm on your right.

From direction of M11</A><P STYLE=color:black;text-align:left;>
Follow A120 eastbound to the A130 junction and follow the brown signs to "Blake House Craft Centre" via the B1256 

Passing the Craft Centre on your right, continue into Great Saling and take the second turning to the right. Follow this road for about 2 miles to its junction with the B1053. Turn left here onto the B1053. After exactly one mile you will see Boydells Dairy Farm on your right.

From direction of Halstead</A><P STYLE=color:black;text-align:left;>
Take the A1124 through Sible Hedingham as far as the “Sugar Loaves” pub where you turn left. Follow this road round and turn left again just past the church (signed Wethersfield). Keep on this road until you reach the village green at the centre of Wethersfield where you turn left towards Braintree on the B1053. Boydells Dairy Farm is on the left just 1.5 miles along this road.

From direction of Saffron Walden.</A><P STYLE=color:black;text-align:left;>
Follow the B1053 all the way, taking care not to miss the right turn just after Radwinter, the left turn in Great Sampford and the right turn at Wethersfield (signed Braintree). Boydells Dairy Farm is on the left, just 1.5 miles from the centre of Wethersfield.

From direction of Haverhill.</A><P STYLE=color:black;>
Follow the B1057 to Finchingfield, being careful not to miss the left turn on entering Steeple Bumpstead. Turn left in Finchingfield onto the B1053. Follow this road - again, not missing the right turn in the centre of Wethersfield. Boydells Dairy Farm is on the left, just 1.5 miles from the centre of Wethersfield.</H1>
